Placement of a classified ad on this site does not constitute an endorsement by MEARS. Those individuals or organizations that offer items for sale, must agree to abide by the same policy that MEARS does with respect to refunds when items are proven to be other than what they were represented to be. Since the ability to place classified ads is a benefit of membership/subscription, individuals or organizations that do not comply with this policy will have their ads removed and their subscriptions cancelled. In this event, no new application for subscription or membership will be accepted for a period of no less than two (2) years. MEARS will not adjudicate disputes, but will look into the circumstances surrounding complaints by advertisers. In the case when a membership or subscription is cancelled, the prorated portion of that annual subscription will be returned.
