Twelve simple words to describe the winter 2009 MEARS Auction. This is our first consignment focused event and we are thrilled at the initial response consigners have shown with these historic offerings.
Our plan is to limit the field to roughly 100 lots and the focus is on quality. Quality items and a quality experience for both consigners and bidders. If you have items similar in caliber to what has already been consigned, please contact us as soon as possible.
The auction will preview on November 18th 2009 and bidding will run from November 21st through the 5th of December. In order to meet this time line, all items must be on hand at the MEARS Corporate Research and Conference Center no later than 29th of October. Collectors have responded very favorably to our policy of NO HIDDEN RESERVES and NO IN HOUSE BIDDING. Our consignment fees and buyers premiums are at an industry low 10% . This translates into more real buying power for the collector thus more legitimate value for your items.
